The Victory Christian Academy Knights didn’t stand a chance as the Patriots played their best game so far this year. This was the first year that Victory has had a soccer team; nevertheless, they put up a great fight in the first half, and at halftime looked like they still had a decent chance to win the game.
The score was 2-0 in the Patriots’ favor.
In the second half the Patriots’ midfield controlled the play, dominating the Knights and creating more opportunities. This was largely due to the fact that as the half progressed, the Knights looked extremely tired, and were not as in as much of a hurry to run to the ball.
Throughout the entire half the Patriots showed why they are undefeated. They scored four more goals in the 40-minute half, and had many more shots on goal. They really are beginning to come together as a team.
As far as the goals are concerned, Nick Shaffer and Eric Wilkening each contributed 2 goals, with Ryan Milby and Daniel Pegram scoring one apiece. James Denison also contributed 3 assists, which is outstanding for soccer.
YOUR CVHAA Patriots came out on top with score of 6-0.
